Area Seniors present a variety show that will be Beyond Belief

"Young at Heart-Slightly Older Other Parts" comes to Novi High School Auditorium Sept 21 and 22.

Beyond Belief Senior Theatre & Chorus will present their newest original variety show, "Young at Heart-Slightly Older Other Parts" at the Novi High School Auditorium September 21 and 22 at 1:00 p.m. Beyond Belief is a "well-seasoned" troupe composed of 30 singers, dancers, and performers ranging in age from 60-93 years young who desire to share their love for the performing arts in the Detroit Metro area.

This traveling non-profit musical group enjoys performing together and welcome new members to join us in our mission to "Share the Joy of Music". The group's prevailing belief is "If you can walk, you can dance. If you can talk, you can sing."

They believe that people of all ages benefit from participating in musical activities as either a performer or audience member. Beyond Belief has entertained larger audiences in public concerts at the Novi Middle School, Genetti's Hole-In-The-Wall in Northville, Two Muses Theatre in West Bloomfield, The Marquis Theatre in Northville,The Costick Center in Farmington Hills, Orchard Grove Church in Walled Lake and most recently in the newly renovated Novi High School Auditorium. Though, they love performing for large audiences, they also share their talents by touring senior living communities to provide a special type of music therapy with those who are not capable of attending the theater. They are honored to have Trenda Baldridge of Southfield serve as their Music Director and Accompanist. Mary Lou Montville of Novi lends her time and talent as choreographer.
