Motor City Comic Con Coming To Novi
The 29th annual Motor City Comic Con is coming to Novi with its eclectic cast of superheroes, villains and sitcom stars.

NOVI, MI — The 29th annual Motor City Comic Con is coming to Novi with its eclectic cast of superheroes, villains and sitcom stars. Pegged as Michigan’s top pop culture event, some 60,000 fans are expected to flock to the three-day event May 18-20 at the Suburban Collection Showplace, 46100 Grand River Ave.
Celebrities from Arrow, Game of Thrones, IT, The Lost Boys, Batman Forever, Toy Story, Star Trek: Voyager, Sons of Anarchy, The Walking Dead, Boy Meets World and The Princess Bride will be on hand. The 29th annual event’s guest list includes Jerome Flynn, Lucy Lawless, Stephen Amell, Jason Patric, Alanna Masterson, Wallace Shawn, Summer Glau, Val Kilmer, Ryan Hurst, Will Friedle, Rob Paulsen, Tara Strong, Trish Stratus, Jaeden Lieberher, Frank Quitely and John Cassaday. More than 300 comic creators, writers, illustrators and actors will greet fans, sign autographs, take pictures, and participate in panels and Q-and-A discussions.
“We work year-round to host an event that engages fans of all ages in a fun-filled atmosphere bursting with escapist, family-friendly entertainment,” said convention promotor Michael Goldman in a press release.

Cosplayers in disguise as their favorite superhero and comic character can enter a Cosplay Contest with celebrity judges on Saturday and attend an evening party with entertainment and refreshments. Sunday is slated as Kid’s Day and features kid-friendly activities. For more information, click here.
