Novi High Hosts Football Camp For Kids With Disabilities
Kids of all abilities are invited to experience being a Wildcat under the Friday night lights June 18.

NOVI, MI — The Novi Wildcats football team will host its third annual Fantasy Football Camp for individuals with disabilities on Monday, June 18. Participants will have the opportunity to experience the excitement of playing football on the turf at Wildcat Stadium. All participants will enter the stadium through the same inflatable tunnel the Novi Wildcats football team uses to take the field on Friday nights under the light.
Campers will participate in drills that simulate a typical football practice. They will compete in cone and bag drills that are used to increase agility. They'll learn the basics of blocking, tackling, throwing and catching, while getting the opportunity to score a touchdown. The Novi cheer program will even be there to teach drills and cheers that go along with Friday night experience.
All levels of athletic ability are welcome and all drills will be adapted to allow success for all involved.
Then, campers will be allowed to attend our first varsity football game of the 2018 season on Thursday, August 23 for free and join the team on the field during pre-game.
