Novi Officer Injured By Driver
A Novi officer was treated at a local hospital after a fleeing driver crashed into him, reports say.
NOVI, MI — A Novi police officer was injured Tuesday after a driver fleeing the scene of a crash rear-ended the officer’s car, according to reports. The accident happened around 5 p.m. Tuesday and the driver was reportedly leaving the scene of another accident in Wixom. The driver then sideswiped another vehicle at the intersection of Pontiac Train and Springlake Boulevard before hitting the officer’s car.
The officer was taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries. The driver was also treated. No other injuries were reported.
