Prices will be $15 for one ride, $30 for three rides and $100 for unlimited rides, according to the Detroit News. Participants will be required to use inflatable tubes, and are encouraged to bring their water buckets, floaties and water guns for soaking.
The slide, the size of three football fields, is anticipated to be set up in the middle of a major street in each city for a single day, reported the Detroit Free Press. Slide the City spokesman David Dupaix told the paper the event originated in Salt Lake City and Boise, Idaho, and was so popular they franchised it.
