2 Men Get Probation for Using Fake Credit Cards at Canton Banks

The two men from Chicago plead guilty to obtaining the money under false pretenses.

Two men who used fraudulent credit cards to get cash from Canton banks have been sentenced to two years of probation, according to an article in the Observer & Eccentric.

Tiras Kaneil Prothro and Tabrian Jovan Collins, both 29 and from Chicago, plead guilty to obtaining $1,000 to $20,000 under false pretenses. The plea helped the two avoid a five-year prison sentence, and they will not go to trial for having a fraudulent financial transaction device, according to the article.

The two were arrested in January as they left the Bank of America on Michigan Avenue in Canton.
