Ann Arbor - based Cannabis brand Skymint expands to Portage
Ann Arbor-based Skymint Brands are rapidly growing across Michigan with 12 stores open and more coming soon.
Customers visiting the newest cannabis dispensary in Portage are greeted with a sign that says, “High, we’re open.”
In addition to cannabis products, guests can browse branded clothing, ceramic pipes made by a Michigan artist and books like “420 Things To Draw While High.”
The dispensary, located at 8542 Shaver Road in Portage, is set up like any other retail store, allowing guests to browse products rather than having them tucked behind the checkout counter.

Ann Arbor-based Skymint Brands are rapidly growing across Michigan with 12 stores open and more coming soon. They currently serve two-thirds of the state, from Ann Arbor to Nunica, East Lansing to Bay City, and beyond, with plans to serve the entire state by year’s end.
Skymint Ann Arbor dispensary was open in January 2020.
