The Canton Community Foundation To Host Annual Veteran's Summit

This annual event puts veterans in touch with experts who can help them understand benefits they may qualify for through Veteran's Affairs.

The annual CCF Veterans’ Summit, hosted every September, brings experts together with veterans in need of understanding the benefits for which they may be eligible through Veterans Affairs. This year you'll meet representatives from the VAMC of both Detroit and Ann Arbor, learn about Freedom Center, Fisher House and Stiggy's Dogs, and get updates on topics that include health care, VA benefits and property taxes.
Whether you are:
• A veteran, family member or caregiver of a veteran
• Have a family member or friend who is currently enlisted
• Work in the veteran community
• Are simply interested in learning more about how you can help our veterans …

THIS SUMMIT IS FOR YOU!

Please plan now to join us September 13th at Madonna University for this half-day event.
The is a FREE event, but we ask that you and your guests register. A boxed lunch will be available at the close of the program and we want to make certain we have enough for everyone.
In addition to speakers, the Summit brings in Veteran Service Officers to meet one on one with veterans to help with their cases face to face.
If the veteran in your family or that you care for is unable to attend the Summit, we encourage you as a caregiver to attend in order to learn about benefits and changes that have occured. You are also able to meet with a veterans service officer. Simply bring the veteran's DD214.
