Area residents who are looking to explore the great outdoors and discover the beauty that nature has to offer are invited to join Canton Leisure Services on the Fellows Creek Wetland Nature Trail during a special “Hike with a Naturalist” on Saturday, November 14, 2020, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
This FREE, family- and pet-friendly community event will include a walk-through of approximately 0.75 miles of wetland areas with information and commentary provided by Justin Smith, a Community Outreach Interpreter from Huron-Clinton Metroparks.
“Staying physically active is one of the best ways to keep your mind and body healthy, especially in these stressful times,” said Special Events Coordinator Gary Marks. “We’re excited to offer this unique opportunity for participants to become better educated about this special ecosystem that’s right here in Canton.”
