Canton Lions Club Is Hosting Their Annual Euchre Tournament

The Canton Lions Club Foundation is hosting their annual Euchre Tournament on Saturday, February 25th, at the Elks Club in Plymouth. The doors open at 6:00 PM, and the tournament begins at 7:00 PM. This is an annual event, and it is an important fundraiser for the Lions, with an emphasis of the word fun.

Card playing enthusiasts will have a great time with fellow community members, have a chance at some euchre glory, and most importantly, raise some money for many of the great things our local Lions Club does right here in our community.

The Lions Club prides themselves on serving. They don't have a singular focus, other than to serve. They help where help is needed. Part of their motto is that whenever a Lions Club gets together, a problem gets smaller, and communities get better.

Having said that, if you are free, and maybe looking for some fun in the community at a reasonable price, this is the event for you. You'll get a chance to meet some neighbors in the community, maybe see others you already knew, and have a great time, while helping this outstanding organization do all the great things they do.

Here are the details:

Twenty dollars gets you into the tournament, and gets you complimentary Sloppy Joes & Chips, because nobody likes to play euchre on an empty stomach. There will be a cash bar for those who choose to have
a cocktail. There will be cash prizes paid to the top three finishers, and for those feeling extra lucky, there are also raffle baskets, and a 50/50 raffle.
