Draymond Green Apologizes for X-Rated Snapchat Post
The Michigan native, NBA star and U.S. Olympic men's basketball team member said he meant to send graphic crotch shot as a private message.
Days before the start of the 2016 Rio Olympics, Draymond Green backtracked and said he accidentally posted a graphic crotch shot on Snapchat Sunday after earlier saying on Twitter that his account had been hacked, according to media reports.
The Associated Press reported that while practicing with the U.S. Olympic men’s basketball team in Houston, the Saginaw native, Golden State Warriors All-Star forward and two-time Michigan State University All-American said he meant to send the photo in a private message “and kind of hit the wrong button, you know?”
“Like I said, it was meant to be private, but we’re all one click away from placing something in the wrong place and I suffered from that this morning,” Green said.

It’s the latest misstep for Green. He had been accused of slapping a Michigan State football player recently in East Lansing, but pleaded guilty to a civil infraction that allows him to avoid jail time and continue with the Olympic team. He also was suspended for Game 5 in the NBA finals for a flagrant foul when he and LeBron James tangled after Green hit James in the groin area.

Green said his Tweet was “disrespectful” to people who struggle with daily life. “ … I’m living my dreams,” he said. “I’m playing in the Olympics.”

“I figured it out pretty quick, but in this world, quick ain’t quick enough,” Green said of the graphic message. “Once it’s out, it’s out.”
