Good Eats At The Plymouth VFW Post 6695

There are two exciting food events beginning in October at the Plymouth VFW Post 6695 on Mill Street & Ann Arbor Road. If you have ever had the opportunity to have a meal with our veterans there, you know that they are fun events, and the food is good. If you haven’t had the chance, please come on over, and support our veterans, I promise you will not walk away disappointed.

Every Wednesday from 5:00 till 7:00 PM is Slider Night!

If you like hamburgers, you’ll love these sliders! They come cheap, at $1.25 a piece. My recommendation is to bring a five dollar bill, and enjoy four of the little beauties!  As for myself, I will be bringing a ten dollar bill, eating four of them there, and sticking four in my pocket for a late evening snack. Either way, you’ll be glad you showed up for Slider Night!

The 2nd & 4th Fridays of the month are Taco Bar Nights, and they run from 5:00 till 8:00 PM.

I love tacos, and I really love being able to make my own tacos at a place where I don’t have to clean up the mess! The price for this Taco Bar is $7.50, and I plan to head to the VFW Post, and see just how many tacos I can sit down and eat!

So if you are not doing anything on Wednesdays, and don’t feel like making dinner, let a vet cook for you! If you are looking for a little south of the border a couple times a month on Fridays, come and create your own tacos, both crunchy, and soft. You’ll be eating good food, meeting great people, and supporting our local veterans.
