Happy Mother’s Day From Kimberly Carli
"You always want the best for everyone, and you're always reaching out in some way to help and encourage others."

In celebration of Mother's Day on Sunday May 13, we asked Patch readers to write a letter to their mother and let us deliver it. This is Kimberly Carli's letter to her mom:
Dear Mom,
I love you mom for you: a wife, a daughter, a friend and mostly a mother — my mother!
I forget sometimes the role I played in your life as a child and the heartache I caused not knowing or understanding the difficulties and possible outcome in which the family was affected. I know with certainty the pain and worry I have caused you, Mom, and I am truly sorry for making you feel this way at anytime in your life. The truth is hard to listen to when we are the ones inflicting pain. We need to learn to forgive ourselves so we can be happy and forgive others.
Please forgive me?
I could never have been half the mother you are, even though I tried every single day. I am so sorry, Mom, for the hurt, fears and loneliness that you have suffered most of your life, while still caring and protecting us the best way you knew how. I'm sure life wasn't perfect, but at least I have a mother in my life who loves me. That is strength!
I have seen you grow over the recent years and how happy you are with your life and those around you. I thank God every day that you were able to overcome the many obstacles and you endured and yet still love unconditionally with no regrets, even those who have abandoned you. You keep believing. That is hope and faith!
Admiration comes from people choosing the path that empowers them to use their beliefs, morals and strengths in a positive way to help others and do the right thing — even when others do not. You always want the best for everyone, and you're always reaching out in some way to help and encourage others. I admire you mom. That is integrity!
You inspire me to be who I am and who I want to be for the rest of my life. You are most selfless person I know. You have opened my heart and mind in so many ways and now I truly see how to love someone unselfishly and what that means — what a miraculous gift to give someone. You are a beautiful person and that is love! This is my mother!
I love you, for you are a gift from God to me in my life. Nothing on this earth or heavens could ever take the place of you or make me feel any differently about you. I never remember you not being there when I needed you as a mother or a parent. You give your love away, and I accept this precious gift every day. I am honored to be in your life and to be your daughter. I couldn't imagine my life without you here. This is a blessing!
I love you so much, Mom. Thank you for being you, and thank you for being my mom!
