Man, 75, Charged In Death Of Harley-Davidson Driver
The accused man faces up to 15 years in prison for causing the deadly wreck, police said.

CLINTON TWP., MI – A 75-year-old St. Clair Shores man has been charged in the death of a motorcyclist on Saturday, police said. Edward Stanley Gray faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted, according to police.
Gray was to be arraigned Monday afternoon on a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Police say that Stanley crashed his car into motorcyclist Carl Evans, 46, of Clinton Township just before 10 p.m. on Saturday.
Evans was driving a 2014 Harley-Davidson motorcycle south on Harper Road. Gray, who was driving a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu north on Harper Road, attempted to turn left onto 15 Mile Road when he hit Evans' motorcycle. Evans was thrown from the motorcycle. He was not wearing a helmet.

Emergency crews took Evans to McLaren Hospital, where he died of the injuries he sustained in the crash.
Gray remained at the scene of the wreck and was taken into custody on Saturday. He was to be arraigned in Clinton Township district court at 1 p.m. Monday.
