Police said they were called to one home in the 50000 block of Hesperus at around 10 p.m. Friday after the homeowner noticed multiple items missing from their attached garage. A second report was taken within the hour after a neighbor also noticed missing items from their garage, police said.

Home surveillance cameras captured images of the suspect and a vehicle, which police said led to a quick arrest of Smith.
