Old Village Haunted Halloween Block Party Is Sunday

Pumpkin bowling and a kiddie train are among fun activities planned for the Plymouth Old Village event.

PLYMOUTH, MI — It is back. No, we’re not talking about Pennywise from Stephen King’s “It.” We’re talking about Plymouth’s Old Village Haunted Halloween Block Party.

After a year off, the event returns Sunday on Liberty Street from noon to 4 p.m. The kiddie train will from from noon to 3 p.m. while there will be a host of other fun games — such as pumpkin bowling and the “Pumpkin Tower of Death” — for everyone to play.

Most games are only $1 to play and kids and parents can decorate pumpkins for $2. Profits from the events will go toward promoting and beautifying Old Village. The Old Village Association meets at 6:30 p.m. at the Masonic Lodge, 495 Amelia on the first Wednesday of each month.
