What a year we experienced together as a school community. We learned Zoom and Canvas together. We had to remember whether we were the blue or green cohort, or if we should be learning asynchronously or synchronously. We learned so much together and encountered barriers that we have never seen in our lifetime and we made it through in a positive way! 

We often say that it takes a village and this year it certainly did!  We truly appreciated all of your support and patience as you navigated at-home learning and various learning schedules. 

Yesterday as we clapped for our 5th graders I was overwhelmed by the joy, laughter, and smiles that I saw on the faces (and in the eyes) of students and staff. While this was one of the most unique school years we have ever experienced as a school community, we kept our focus on the children. Each day they found ways to enjoy their "new normal" and they showed perseverance and courage in their ability to adjust to the many challenges. Thank you for all that you did to keep our Roadrunners moving forward in a positive direction this year. 

We made it through the 2020-2021 school year!
