Plymouth Credit Union Offers Free Workshop On Credit Scores

If you've ever wondered how credit scores are compiled, now is your chance to find out.

PLYMOUTH, MI – The Catholic Vantage Financial credit union will offer a free workshop to teach people about credit scores and the factors that influence their credit at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9. Attendees will learn how credit scores are compiled, how to get a free report and how to dispute the score.

Guests also will receive valuable tips and strategies to help improve their credit scores. New borrowers also will find out how to establish credit and earn a high rating.

Attendees are welcome to bring their personal credit reports to the workshop. Consumers can also receive a free copy of their credit report every 12 months from each credit reporting company at www.annualcreditreport.com.

To ensure available seating for the workshop, attendees should register at www.mycvf.org/credit-workshop/ or by calling 734-432-0212. The workshop will be at the credit union’s offices at 8817 Sheldon Road in Plymouth.
