Plymouth District Library “Three Floors Open” Announcement

This is an announcement from Plymouth Library Director, Carol Souchock, who has worked tirelessly to serve patrons during the Covid pandemic

The Plymouth District Library is pleased to announce the re-opening of the Youth floor. With this step, all three floors of the library are now open for browsing. This exciting step forward happily coincides with the first day of National Library Week. This year’s theme, “Welcome to Your Library” is appropriate, as it celebrates both the ways in which libraries extend far beyond the walls of the building and the fact that all are welcome to use their services.

The Plymouth District Library is proud of the ways we continued to serve our community during the recent lockdown, and we are so happy to be welcoming back our youngest patrons to the unique pleasure of browsing.

The library continues to monitor the Covid situation and adapt our service offerings accordingly. At this time, the Library remains in a Grab & Go status, and patrons are asked to limit their visit to one hour or less. Curbside pickup on the porch continues to be available for patrons who choose not to enter the library.
