Plymouth High School Bomb Threat Investigated, All-Clear Given

Canton police said a bomb threat at Plymouth High School on Thursday was investigated and there is no threat against students or staff.

CANTON, MI — Canton police have given the all-clear after a bomb threat at Plymouth High School was reported Thursday afternoon.

Police said an unknown person called in a bomb threat against the high school, prompting school officials and police to evacuate the limited number of staff and students at the school and investigate the threat.

Police said there is no threat to students or staff and all afternoon and evening athletics and activities at P-CEP will continue as scheduled.

"The safety and well-being of all students remains the number one priority of both the school district and the Canton Police Department," police said in a statement Thursday.

Anyone with information on the threat has been asked to call the Canton Police Department at (734) 394-5400.
