Business support programs at the library continue this spring
The Plymouth District Library, along with local finance experts and business mentors, will
offer several programs this spring, designed to assist small business owners and entrepreneurs in the community.
Financial Well-Being for Entrepreneurs - Tuesday, April 2, 7 p.m.
Local CPA, Wayne Titus returns to the library and will focus on a comprehensive financial planning approach for both personal and professional growth. From selecting the right
adviser to portfolio management, Mr. Titus will cover investing, wealth transfer, enhancement, protection and charitable giving. This program is part of the library’s Money Smart Week – the broadest financial education program in the country. SCORE Art Marketing Workshop – Saturday, April 6, 1:30 – 3:30 p.m.
Created by national non-profit business advocacy group, SCORE, this workshop is designed for visual artists looking to sell more of their work and expand their client base. Louisiana Economic
Development and Michigan SCORE Director, Steve Feinman, will present a fun interactive workshop that will give professional artists proven tips that directly impact sales.

SCORE’s free business consultation appointments continue at the library this spring. These one-hour sessions will take place on Wednesdays, April 17, 24, May 1 and 22, between 5 - 7 p.m.
Thursday appointments are available on March 28, May 2, 23 and 30 between 4 – 6 p.m.

SCORE is a national non-profit organization established in 1964 dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of the nation’s small businesses. SCORE volunteers are experienced professionals with first-hand business knowledge who donate thousands of hours to help small businesses succeed. Mentors have expertise in many areas including accounting, finance, marketing, operations, sales, training, human resources, intellectual property, and the effective use of social media. Ann Arbor SCORE has 22 mentors and has been serving the area since 2000.
