Plymouth VFW Post To Host All You Can Eat Soup & Salad Dinner

This is the best dinner deal in Plymouth! This is also a great event to go to before you head out to the Plymouth Ice Festival!!!

Are you looking for a great place for dinner this Saturday? Maybe want to get some warm food in your belly before you head to the Plymouth Ice Festival? I know the perfect place, and it will definitely be easy on your wallet! The annual Soup and Salad dinner at the Plymouth VFW Post takes place on Saturday, January 12th, from 5-7 PM. The Plymouth VFW Auxiliary is hosting their annual Hot Soup & Cold Salad Dinner, and I can tell you that this is one of the best dinners they have, and it is an absolute bargain at $5 for all you can eat!

When you show up, you will find at least two solid walls of different kinds of soups and salads, and I seriously suggest you try a little of each. You won't get through everything offered, but you'll have a blast trying. That is the great thing about this being an annual event, because folks can come back, and try different crock pot creations every single year.

So I'll just say this before I get to the menu. If you enjoy soup, and crock pot creations, you will enjoy this event. Not only will you enjoy some great food, but more importantly, you will get some great ideas to try out at home for the future! I won't lie, I did steal an idea or two from last year's event. I am not ashamed to admit it either.

So here is the deal. For a mere $5.00 you will get a variety of hot soups & cold salads to choose from. Feel free to try as many as you like. There will also be bread & rolls to eat, and coffee and tea to drink. There will be soft drinks, and a cash bar available as well. Most importantly, you will meet some of the best people around. I can't tell you how friendly and funny folks are at the VFW Post. You'll spend a lot of time laughing and smiling. I promise!

Now the fun part. After you have enjoyed your soup and salad, you will want to visit the dessert table, or as I call it, the "Buck-A-Pop" table. Everything costs a dollar. This table will be filled with a variety of homemade desserts cooked in the kitchens of Auxiliary members, and they are spectacular. Beyond spectacular. I suggest walking to this table with a five dollar bill and trying out five different goodies. You'll not be disappointed.
