Plymouth VFW Post Hosts Their First Lenten Fish Fry On Friday

The first Lenten Fish Fry is Friday, March 3rd at the Plymouth VFW Post. Come on out, and say hi to Nancy, Don, and the rest of the crew!

Fish Fry season is upon us, and our veterans at the Plymouth VFW Post are ready to go. These folks cook the best fish in town, and they love to have our community come on out for some friendship, food, and a beverage of your choice.

The first Lenten Fish Fry will be on Friday, March 3rd, and they will continue through Lent. The Fish Fry's are from 5:00-7:00 PM. You can have your fish fried or baked, you can get Cod or Canadian Walleye (Awesome), or if you are not in the mood for fish, there are also Chicken Strip Dinners, and Shrimp Dinners. The menu is as follows:

3 Piece Fish- $9.00

6 Piece Shrimp Dinner- $9.00

Canadian Walleye- $11.00

4 Piece Chicken Strip Dinner- $9.00

2 Piece Chicken Strip Dinner- $6.00

All dinners served with choice of Fries, Baked Potato, or Mac & Cheese, and Slaw, Roll & Butter, and Coffee.

You can eat your dinner at the banquet hall, of if you prefer, they will gladly pack your dinners to go as well.

While you are at the Fish Fry, you will want to be sure to visit the dessert table, where you will find a huge assortment of homemade baked goods, all for the very cheap price of one dollar. I call this the “Buck-A-Pop-Table” and I generally bring a five dollar bill, and take some goodies home with me.

So come on out, and support our local veterans every Friday during Lent. I promise you, the food will be great, and the company will be even better...
