The Plymouth VFW Post Will Host Vietnam 50th Commemorative Ceremony & Picnic

All Vietnam veterans and their families are invited to this free event, where Vietnam veterans will receive a 50th Commemorative Pin.

The Plymouth-Canton Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 528 would like to announce a very special event. The 50th Commemorative Veteran Event, which will take place on Saturday, September 30th at the Plymouth VFW Post 6695, located at 1426 S. Mill Street. This event is free to all Vietnam Veterans, and their families, as a way to say thank you for their service.

There will be valuable information for veterans, including Hep-C & Agent Orange information, benefits
information, information about veteran's services, and an Honor and Remember Flag Ceremony.

The highlight of this event will be a ceremony for the presentation of a 50th Vietnam Commemorative Pin to all Vietnam Veterans who attend, and a thank you to all family members.

Vietnam Veteran Bob Dew, who helped coordinate this event said, “This is an important event for local
Vietnam veterans to attend, not only to be recipients of the 50th Commemorative Pin, receive important veteran's benefits information, but also to spend some time with fellow veterans and their families.”

In the morning there will be cider and fresh baked donuts, and the BBQ will be from 1:00-5:00 PM. Outside, there will be military equipment on display, and games for all ages.
