Plymouth Volunteers Help Make $60,000 in Improvements to Kiwanis Park

New playground installed in November, more upgrades to happen in the spring.

(Originally posted on Dec. 8, 2016) PLYMOUTH, MI — By the time spring rolls around, Kiwanis Park in Plymouthwill be looking as fresh as the new grass. A new play structure is already in place for children ages 5-12, new wood chips have been added to the play structure and more work will continue next spring with the installation of a new sidewalk, The Plymouth Observer reports.

Improvements to the park, located at Junction and Auburn streets, are a joint effort of the Kiwanis Club of Colonial Plymouth and the city of Plymouth. About $60,200 in improvements are planned.
