Plymouth's Main Street Auto Wash To Host Annual Veterans Car Wash

It is time once again for the annual Vietnam Veterans Car Wash event, at the Main Street Auto Wash in
Plymouth. Once a year, the Purcell family generously opens their car wash to our veterans to host this important fundraiser. The Purcell family have been long time supporters of our veterans, and every
single dollar, for every single car wash will go to the Veterans Relief Fund, which helps fund all of the charitable endeavors for the Plymouth-Canton Vietnam Veterans of America. This event will happen
on Sunday, October 15th, from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Veterans from all conflicts sometimes find themselves in need, and our local Vietnam Veterans always step
in to give them a hand up. I have seen firsthand the many great things they do in our community, from sponsoring a Boy Scout troop, to retiring flags, to their Adopt A Road program, to their work at the VA Hospital, their charitable holiday work, and also the other more private endeavors, where they quietly step in to help out their fellow veterans in need. They work their butts off fundraising in order to be able to be such an important fixture in our community, and the local veteran community, so all of the help that our generous
Plymouth-Canton community is always greatly appreciated.

We are anxiously watching the weather, and hoping that Mother Nature smiles upon us on Sunday. I'll say
this though, rain or shine, our veterans will be there, and if you don't want a car wash, they are gratefully accepting donations as well. It is every bit as much about supporting our veterans, as it is about getting a squeaky clean car, so please come out to the Main Street Auto Wash on Sunday, October 15th, between 9:00 AM & 5:00 PM and show your support for our Plymouth-Canton Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 528...
