Person Of Interest Questioned In Woman's Death: Canton Police
Police said they are questioning someone in connection with the death of a woman found in her Kimberly Drive home in Canton Monday.
CANTON, MI — A person of interest is being questioned in connection with the death of a 65-year-old woman who was found dead in her Kimberly Drive home Monday morning, Canton Public Safety officials said.
“Our officers and detectives have been working diligently to investigate the facts of this morning’s incident,” Canton Police Deputy Chief Craig Wilsher said Monday. “We are thankful for the assistance provided from the Michigan State Police as we work through the details of the case.
Officials said police officers and paramedics were called to a home in the 4100 block of Kimberly Drive around 7:45 a.m. Monday following a 911 call. Emergency personnel arrived at the scene and found a woman dead, authorities said.

The identity of the woman is not being released at this time, authorities said. Police said Monday morning that the woman's death was being actively investigated as suspicious.
Police said the public was never in any danger following the incident.
