METRO DETROIT, MI — If you’re making plans for Memorial Day weekend, the National Weather Service says Saturday will probably be the best weather day. Partly sunny skies are expected on Saturday with a seasonable high of 76 degrees.
There’s a chance for rain every other day this weekend, including Memorial Day. After a mostly cool week, at least temperatures will be moderate, ranging from 70-78 degrees. Here’s a closer look at the metro Detroit weather forecast:
Thursday Night: Showers, mainly before 9 pm. Low around 54. North wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Friday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 70. Northwest wind 6 to 8 mph. Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 57. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 76. Southeast wind 3 to 6 mph. Saturday Night: A chance of showers after 3am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 60. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
