Watch: Snow-Blowing Dinosaur Attacks Snow-Covered Street
Without snowplows coming down his street, one neighbor decides to enlist some prehistoric help to remove the snow.

CANTON, MI – Mother Nature dumped a foot of snow on Michael Lefferts' Cumberland Drive neighborhood over the weekend. Unfortunately, Wayne County snow plows did not get there to clean the streets and he had to employ a T-Rex to get the job done.
And, he caught it on video: Bernice, the T-Rex, snow-blowing his driveway and street clear of the snow.
"It's kind of crazy," said Lefferts in a video he posted to Facebook. "We're blending new technology and old technology together. For some reason in the city, they don’t plow our streets so I had to hire an old school T-Rex to do my streets."

The video, posted Saturday evening, shows "Bernice" pushing a snow-blower up and down the snow-covered street in front of his house. Lefferts says in the video that he has lived in the neighborhood for eights years, "and I think they've plowed our streets twice."
Bernice the T-Rex is actually Lefferts' wife, Melissa. Contacted this morning, she confirmed that her street remains snow-covered, despite Bernice's attempts to clear with a snowblower. She said that they have contacted Wayne County officials in hopes of getting the streets cleared. So far, they have not seen the snowplows, though.

The snowplows are on the way Monday, however, said Whitney Lewis, the director of communications for the Wayne County Department of Public Services.
With the continuous snowfall over the weekend, it was challenging to keep up with primary streets, not to mention side streets in the county, she said. Now that the snow has subsided, county snowplows were dispatched Monday to get catch up with the subdivisions streets, she said.
Unless, of course, Bernice the T-Rex gets the job done first.
