1 Person Shot At Briarwood Mall In Ann Arbor, Police Say
Police are asking people to avoid the area as they investigate the shooting.
ANN ARBOR, MI — Ann Arbor police said Friday that no one is in custody following a shooting at the Briarwood Mall that left one person with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers are investigating a report of shots fired at @Briarwood mall. At this time there IS NOT an active shooter and we ask people to avoid the area of the mall while the investigation is in progress.

The shooting, which took place around 3 p.m. Friday, is not believed to have been a random incident, Ann Arbor police said on Twitter.
Police said the investigation is ongoing and are asking people to avoid the mall. The area surrounding the mall is closed to incoming traffic.
