Wayne County Coronavirus Update: 104,279 Cases, 4,004 Deaths

WAYNE COUNTY, MI – There have been 104,279 confirmed cases of the coronavirus cases in Wayne County, according to newly released health data.

There were nine additional death reported Thursday, bringing the total cumulative COVID-19-related deaths in the county to 4,004.

Michigan reported 5,224 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday.

There were 49 additional COVID-19-related deaths statewide reported Thursday, which is more than triple the number of deaths that were reported on Wednesday.

To date, there have been 642,869 coronavirus cases across the state, with 15,984 coronavirus-related deaths.
