Winter Weather Advisory Issued for Wayne County This Weekend

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service (NWS). Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while driving.

The Winter Weather Advisory is now in effect from from midnight Dec. 14 until midnight Dec. 15. 

The NWS reports:

• 4 to 6 inches of snow is expected by Saturday evening
• East winds will increase to around 20 mph late tonight and continue on Saturday causing some minor blowing and drifting of the snow 
• Roads will be snow covered and slippery
• Visibilities will be reduced to as low as a half mile at times
