Here's What Michigan Preschoolers Want For Christmas

Kids at The Goddard School in Rochester Hills have spoken. These educational toys are the most desired for Christmas 2019.

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — Wondering what to get the little tike in your life? Christmas is around the corner and this new study is pinpointing exactly what little kids want. How fun.

Just in time for Black Friday and the holiday shopping season, local preschoolers from The Goddard School in Rochester Hills announced Melissa & Doug Take-Along Town as the winning toy of 2019.

This September, The Goddard School took on the best job ever – testing toys to help parents and educators find the very best for children’s Christmas lists.

The Goddard School’s Preschooler-Approved Toy Test is annual initiative engaged Detroit children from infants to six years old to play with interactive toys while teachers observed and documented how the toys rated among the judging criteria: interactivity, skill development, creative inspiration and more.

The children then casted their votes and, along with fellow preschoolers from Goddard School locations nationwide, helped to determine the Top 10 Preschooler-Approved Toys.
