Michigan Man Makes Christmas Possible For 7,000 Foster Kids

Christmas was a little more special this year for thousands of kids in Michigan's foster care system.

MICHIGAN — A Michigan man is playing Santa for some of the kids in the community who need it most.

Mike Pipia, who is the global logistics manager for the Auburn Hills-based Guardian Industries Corp., made Christmas special for nearly 7,000 foster children across the state this year, according to the Associated Press.

NBC’s 25 News reported that each December the man collects gifts. This year more than 20,000 donated gifts were collected, according to the report.
