Record Cold In Store For Metro Detroit

MICHIGAN — Winter has come early and she's making sure we don't miss her arrival.

After a Veterans Day storm dumped around 7-10 inches of snow in Metro Detroit — and 30 inches of snow up north — what's in store now are frigid temps.

Tuesday night, temperatures around Metro Detroit will drop to just 9 degrees.

Expect temps to top out in the high 20s Tuesday and Wednesday. The average high temp for this time of year is 51 degrees, forecasters say.
