Oakland County Park Hosts Event For Grandparents, Grandkids
This event brings together kids and a special adult at Wint Nature Center.
OAKLAND COUNTY, MI — A special event is coming up just for grandparents and their grandkids.
Kids can spend time in nature with a favorite grandparent or special adult mentor to explore the theme "Earth, Wind and Fire" during Grands Camp at Wint. It's held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 20 at Wint Nature Center in Independence Oaks County Park.
The Grands Camp will include a themed craft and snack as well as a short hike and hands-on activities.

The cost is $6 per person.
Pre-registration with payment is required by calling 248-858-0916 weekdays or Wint Nature Center at 248-625-6473 on Saturday.
