ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — Families are invited to enjoy a crisp fall night at Bloomer Park for the annual Hoot N’ Howl Hayride.

Organizers said that with the popularity of last year's ride, the event will be offered for two days this year: 7:30-9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 18-19.

Families will enjoy a hayride through the woods with local naturalists to look for nocturnal wildlife like deer, raccoons and owls. After the ride, participants will gather at the Stone Shelter for a crackling campfire.

"This is not only one of our most popular programs, but it's also one of our favorite programs to put on,” says Matt Einheuser, Natural Resources Manager." "I can’t think of a more appropriate program for fall."

Once gathered by the fireplace, guests will be offered cider, doughnuts, and the chance to meet some live animals. This event is great for adults and children of all ages and organizers say there's no fright involved in this event.
