Three Inches Of Snow Expected Today Across Southeastern Michigan

The wintry mix of snow and rain will make for wet road conditions. Here's what to expect.

METRO DETROIT, MI — Snow is falling and a Hazardous Weather Outlook has been issued by the National Weather Service. We can expect up to three inches of snow accumulation, forecasters say. The snowy area stretches from southeastern Michigan into the thumb.

There will be a mix of snow and rain, making sleet and slushy conditions on the roadway, forecasters warn.

Rain and snow. High near 37. East southeast wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Total daytime snow accumulation of around an inch possible.

Thursday night
Rain and snow likely, becoming all snow after 11pm. Cloudy, with a low around 31. Light and variable wind becoming west southwest 5 to 9 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
