'Felony Lane' Gang Members Arrested In Royal Oak Crime Spree: PD
Police say two Florida residents are members of the Felony Lane Gang and behind several crimes in Oakland County.

ROYAL OAK, MI — Two members of a criminal gang have been arrested in Royal Oak, according to police.
Royal Oak police said Zacharias Antoin Allen, 38, and Taylor Rose Wasserman, 22, both of Florida, are members of the notorious Felony Lane Gang. They were arrested in the middle of a crime spree in Royal Oak, when they reportedly broke into vehicles in both Royal Oak and Troy, police said. They were then found by police in a Royal Oak supermarket parking lot early morning Jan. 13. police said.
Police say the pair had been smashing windows and stealing from cars. They are also accused of breaking into the White Chapel Cemetery in Troy. Royal Oak police said officers identified the crimes as those of the Felony Lane Gang and, along with an FBI task force specializing in the gang's crimes, began an investigation. Ultimately, Allen and Wasserman were arrested.

Allen faces a list of charges: one count of criminal enterprises-conspiracy, a felony that carries a penalty of up to 20 years in prison; one count of burglary tools-possession, a felony that carries a penalty of up to 10 years in prison; one count of conspiracy to commit identity theft, a felony that carries a penalty of up to five years in prison; one count of conspiracy to commit financial transaction device-stealing/retaining without consent, a felony that carries a penalty of up to four years in prison; two counts of breaking and entering a vehicle with damage to vehicle, a felony that carries a penalty of up to five years in prison; one count of personal identifying information-obtain/possess/transfer with intent to commit identity theft, a felony that carries a penalty of up to five years in prison; and two counts of financial transaction device- stealing/retaining without consent, a felony that carries a penalty of up to four years in prison.
Police said Allen has an extensive criminal history from Florida and Tennessee with various weapons and assault convictions including fleeing and eluding, felony battery of a pregnant woman, kidnap/false imprisonment, aggravated battery of police officer, resisting police, cocaine, heroin and lewd/lascivious act with a child.

Wasserman is charged with one count of criminal enterprises-conspiracy, a felony that carries a penalty of up to 20 years in prison; one count of conspiracy to commit identity theft, a felony that carries a penalty of up to five years in prison; one count of conspiracy to commit financial transaction device-stealing/retaining without consent, a felony that carries a penalty of up to four years in prison; and one count of financial transaction device- stealing/retaining without consent, a felony that carries a penalty of up to four years in prison.
Wasserman’s criminal history includes convictions for misdemeanor shoplifting from Georgia, police said.
“I am extremely proud of my officers,” Royal Oak Police Chief Corrigan O’Donohue said. “The FLG is a notorious and dangerous criminal organization, and they are very hard to catch. Within six hours of hitting Royal Oak, we had them in custody.”
The two were arraigned Thursday in the 44th District Court. Allen’s bond was set for $250,000 or 10 percent surety; Wasserman’s bond was set for $150,000 or 10 percent surety. Both suspects’ next court appearance is scheduled for Jan. 24.
