Parade Floats Needed For Royal Oak Jingle
For this event, Main Street will be filled with holiday dazzle and merriment. There's cash prizes for the best floats, too.

ROYAL OAK, MI — Planning is underway for the Royal Oak Jingle, hosted by the Royal Oak Downtown Development Authority. It will be held Dec. 14- 15.
This year, the holiday festivities will include the Royal Oak Jingle Light Parade on Main St. beginning at 6 p.m., Sat., Dec. 14. The parade will feature floats, musicians and local groups, all with lighted elements, as they travel along Main Street.
Area businesses, local residents and groups are invited to participate in the parade by creating their own float or lit vehicle. Parade participants are required to have a lighted element, whether it is incorporated into a float or on what they wear, as they walk down Main Street.
