The Royal Oak Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of John McLaughlin Williams, will present its season finale, featuring Young Artist Competition winners, on Friday, May 10, at 8 p.m.
The program will feature Lizzie Vojtisek performing Samuel Barber’s Violin Concerto and John Dannug performing the Concerto for Alto Saxophone by Pierre Max Dubois. Both soloists are high school juniors who were selected through a juried competition.
Alexander Borodin’s Symphony No. 2 in B Minor will conclude the program.
