Cat Film Festival To Be Held In Royal Oak
Yes, cat lovers, this is as magical as it seems. A film fest dedicated to felines.

ROYAL OAK, MI — For those who love cats, a special film program is taking place in Royal Oak in September. The Cat Film Festival will be at the Main Art 3 Theater on Tuesday Sept. 10. The films range from documentaries to short cartoons and cover themes like Japan's cat craze.
The festival celebrates the love for cats, illustrated through film. Organizers say that unlike Internet video festivals, these programs are works of art, thoughtfully curated by pet wellness expert and champion, Tracie Hotchner.

The Cat Film Festival is an exploration through film of the fascinating felines who share our lives, creating a shared audience experience that inspires, educates and entertains. For far too long, cats have been the “invisible” part of the human-animal bond and it’s time to shine the spotlight on these magnificent creatures and the humans devoted to them. The Cat Film Festival enhances our appreciation and understanding of how cats share our world, while benefiting cat welfare nationwide.
