Royal Oak Police Academy Deadline Approaching
Now is your chance to apply for this 7-week course giving an inside look at Royal Oak Police operations.

ROYAL OAK, MI — The Royal Oak Police Department is accepting applications for the 2019 Citizens Police Academy and the deadline is this week.
The Royal Oak Citizens Police Academy is a seven-week course that meets once a week on Wednesday evenings at the police station at 6:30 p.m. Classes last for approximately three hours and the fall session begins Oct. 2, 2019.
Open only to residents of Royal Oak, attendees will get an insider's look at the internal operations and challenges of the police department. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to attend the academy. All potential applicants are screened before they are accepted. Participants will be notified no later than Sept. 30, 2019 if they have been admitted.
