Royal Oak Symphony Orchestra Hosts Holiday Concert

Kids get in to this holiday show for free.

ROYAL OAK, MI — At the next Royal Oak Symphony Orchestra concert, you'll hear the sounds of the season.

Under the direction of John McLaughlin Williams, the Royal Oak Symphony Orchestra will present its holiday concert at 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 20.

The program features Camille Saint-Saëns’ Cello Concerto No. 1 performed by ROSO principal cellist Jonathan Hirsch. Also included are Slavonic Dance No. 1 by Antonin Dvorak, Arcangelo Corelli’s Concerto Grosso in G Minor, and several traditional holiday favorites including Sleigh Ride.

The concert will be held at the Dondero Auditorium at Royal Oak Middle School, 709 N. Washington Ave, Royal Oak.

Tickets for open seating are on sale now and cost $15 for adults, $12 for students and seniors, and free for age 18 and under.
