Meet Libby. The Shelby Township Library has access to thousands of ebooks and audiobooks? You can borrow them for free, using just the device in your hand. It takes just a few taps to find and borrow a book. Libby has a ground-breaking built-in ebook reader, and a beautiful audiobook player. If you prefer, you can send books to your Kindle for reading.

To use, simply open the Libby app, find your local library and input your library card and PIN. Then you can search, sample, borrow, enjoy.

Overdrive App

The Overdrive App is the predecessor to Libby. You can use the app or the website to access Shelby Township Library’s collection of ebooks and audiobooks, particularly directly on a Kindle Fire or other Amazon device. Like Libby, to use, open the app, find your local library and input your library card and PIN. Then you can search, sample, borrow, enjoy.
