New Primary Care Practice to Open in Washington Township
Ascension Crittenton Hospital is expanding its primary care services in Washington Township.
Ascension Crittenton Hospital is expanding its primary care services in Washington Township. Crittenton Primary Care is opening a new location in the Crittenton Medical Office Plaza, 57850 Van Dyke Ave. The office will open on September 1. A ribbon cutting event, featuring officials from Ascension Crittenton and local dignitaries with take place on Thursday, September 20 at 5 p.m.
The new practice will be led by Ascension Crittenton internal medicine doctors Cynthia Housel, D.O. and Jason Whateley, D.O. Both Dr. Housel and Dr. Whateley are Board Certified in Internal Medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine.
The office will be open Monday through Friday. Dr. Housel and Dr. Whateley will offer many in house tests for the convenience of their patients, gynecologic preventative services including pap smears and yearly exams, preventive medicine, acute and chronic conditions, Annual Medicare exams, surgical clearance, joint injections and much more.

The new state of the art medical office is accepting new patients and will be offering same day preventative and same-day sick care appointments for patients 18 years of age and older.
Dr. Housel is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Osteopathic Internists, and the Michigan Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons. She has been a practicing internist in Michigan for 25 years.

Dr. Whateley is a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists and a member of the American Osteopathic Association, as well as the Michigan Osteopathic Association. Dr. Whateley is an active member of the Sons of American Veterans and participates in their volunteer work. He has been a practicing internist in Michigan for 7 years.
