Police Searching For Shelby Township Bank Robbery Suspect
The man was given an undetermined amount of money Monday during a robbery at the PNC Bank on Hayes Road, police said.
SHELBY TWP., MI — Police continue to search for a man accused of robbing a bank in Shelby Township Monday.
Shelby Township police said officers responded to an alarm at the PNC Bank on Hayes Road around 1:24 p.m. Monday and, while en route to the bank, learned there had been a robbery.
Police said a Black man who was about 5-feet-5-inches tall and wearing a gray hoodie and tan Carhartt jacket had entered the bank and gave a teller a note demanding money. No weapon was seen during the robbery, police said.

The man left the bank on foot after being given an undetermined amount of money, police said. He was last seen running south across Hall Road and into Sterling Heights, according to police.
A K-9 track was used and led across Hall Road and into the Lakeside Terrance apartment complex, where it ended, police said.
