
A power outage which took place early Sunday morning left over 2,000 Shelby Township residents in the dark.
The power is expected to return at 11:30 p.m. Monday, according to the DTE Energy outage map, online at dteenergy.com, which was updated on Sunday morning at 10:25 a.m.
The outage cuts across a swath south of 25 Mile Road to south of 24 Mile Road, between Dequindre Road and Van Dyke Avenue.Â
A cause for the outage was not listed on the site. The National Weather Service had issued an ice storm warning from Saturday at 2 p.m. to Sunday at 7 a.m.Â
