Shelby Township Welcomes New Site for Comprehensive Services for the Developmentally Disabled

Officials held an open house and ribbon-cutting for the center, which provides life-skills training to developmentally challenged adults.

The nonprofit Comprehensive Services for the Developmentally Disabled held an open house and ribbon-cutting for its new Shelby Township adult daycare center on Friday, March 1, according to a report in The Macomb Daily.

The 10,000-square-foot site CSDD site, which is located on 22 Mile Road west of Shelby Road, provides life-skills training for adults with developmental disabilities.

CSDD’s Shelby Township center includes a computer lab, fitness equipment and kitchen area.

The Shelby Township location, which started offering services in December, is the fourth CSDD facility in the area. The others are in New Haven, Warren and Monroe.
