2 Murder-Suicides Reported In Macomb County In 1 Week
A woman's body was found a St. Clair Shores lake, leading police to the second husband and wife murder-suicide in the county this week.

ST. CLAIR SHORES, MI — Police are investigating a possible murder-suicide that happened Thursday in St. Clair Shores. Police found a body in a lake off 12 Mile Road and were spotted inside a house on 12 Mile Road just off Greater Mack Avenue, according to reports.
Inside the home, someone found an elderly woman murdered, WDIV reported. Channel 4 reported it was a “gruesome crime scene.”Authorities found the woman’s body hours after they left Champine Park, where they found a man’s body. Police believe the man committed suicide. Police traced the body in the lake back to the home on 12 Mile Road, and that’s when they found the second body. The man and woman are husband and wife, according to reports.
This is the second murder-suicide between a husband and wife in Macomb County recently. Last week, a 76-year-old man first survived after he shot his wife to death and then shot himself in the head inside their Macomb Township home, police said. He died days later as felony charges were pending against him, according to police.
